LAND & VINEYARDS
Terre del Dogado wines originate in the heart of those parts of the Veneto with the most marked vocation for winemaking, the classical area of Valpolicella and Treviso.
Valpolicella classica
Valpolicella Classica extends between the Negrar, Fumane and Marano valleys, covering five municipalities in the province of Verona. Terre del Dogado Amarone and Valpolicella come from the central Marano valley, higher than the others at just under 400m a.s.l. and growing Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes. This area gives top quality, soft, well-structured wines, very aromatic particularly in hot years
SOAVE CLASSICO
The vineyards instead destined for the production of Soave Classico Terre del Dogado are located in the hills of the municipalities of Soave and Monteforte d’Alpone, in the heart of the denomination, where the basalt soil gives the Garganega and Trebbiano grapes scent and minerality.
Together with meticulous work in the vineyard and winery, the typicality and close bond with the local area are fundamental to making our wines genuine masterpieces of technique and nature.
CUSTOZA
The territory from which the Bianco di Custoza DOC originates is that of the morainic hills that make up the southern side of Lake Garda. It is gravely-sandy soils, sometimes clayey, rich in carbonates: they give the Bianco di Custoza DOC the precious characteristics of freshness and flavor.
TREVISO
Finally, the vineyards producing our Prosecco are located on hills in the eastern part of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG area, characterized by dry shallow silt-clay soils which, combined with the wide temperature range and excellent exposure, give our wines unique personality.
