Identity
The Brand
…not just a winery experience, but a Journey into the Serenissima
"Terre del Dogado" is not just a name. It is a place of the soul, a reference to the lands that once belonged to the Republic of Venice, the Serenissima.
Today, in these lands, we cultivate vines and memory. And in every bottle we tell a story.
The Symbol
Inspired by the columns of St. Mark's Square, the symbolic gateway to the Serenissima, it recalls the historical heritage of the Republic of Venice and its deep connection with the inland territories.
On one side St. Theodore (Todaro) with the Dragon, guardian of origins and courage; on the other, the Lion of Venice, emblem of power, wisdom, and civilization.
The stylized hills at the base represent the landscape from which our wines are born, highlighting the profound link between Venice and its agricultural lands.
Through this emblem, Terre del Dogado pays tribute to the historical heritage of the Republic of Venice and the winemaking vocation of a unique territory.
History & Values
We are the wine ambassadors of Venice, the contemporary interpreters of a civilization that knew how to unite East and West, art and trade, land and sea.

The Origins
From the passion of the Sabbadin Brothers for viticulture, Terre del Dogado was born, a company specialized in the production of Venetian wines from the most representative historical production areas.
Terre del Dogado — meaning of the Duchy, of the Doge — is synonymous with Venetian Lands: those territories ruled by the Serenissima Republic for over 1000 years.
Our mission is not only to produce wine, but to give voice to the cultural, artistic, and spiritual greatness of Venice through what is in the glass.
«We care about moving, enchanting, storytelling. Welcome to Terre del Dogado. Here, Wine is Venice.»— Sabbadin Brothers
Vision
At Terre del Dogado, we believe that wine can tell much more than a territory: it can tell an entire civilization.
Each of our bottles is born with a clear idea: to bring to the world the spirit of the Serenissima, its history, its beauty, its uniqueness.
The production and winemaking methods are the perfect combination of tradition and technology: a meeting that creates an innovative reality while paying attention to the experiences of generations.
We do not follow trends. We do not chase labels. We follow the slow rhythm of history. And we let our wines speak for themselves.
The Dogado — the historical region surrounding the Serenissima — is for us a symbol of origin and destiny. Making wine to honor a timeless identity, to carry the name of Venice beyond the boundaries of the sea.
«Our wines are experiences. They are liquid chapters of a great Italian History. They are Venice in a glass.»
Terroir
A peculiar characteristic of Terre del Dogado wines is their origin: the heart of each respective appellation, in what were once the lands of the Republic of Venice.

Valpolicella Classica
The Valpolicella Classica extends between the valleys of Negrar, Fumane, and Marano, including 5 municipalities in the province of Verona. The Amarone and the Valpolicella Terre del Dogado derive from the Marano valley, which is central and higher.
On these hills at about 400 meters above sea level, the Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone vines produce smooth wines of excellent structure and high aromatics, especially in warm vintages.
